Why Practice With This Before The Real Interview
Not a generic question bank — every session adapts to your resume, your target role, and pushes back the way a real hiring manager does.
Live Voice Interview
The AI interviewer actually speaks and listens in real time — it feels like a real call, not a chat form.
Built From Your Resume
Questions are generated from your actual resume and job description — including direct cross-questions on your own projects.
Real Interview Pressure
Each question runs on a live timer, with an option to extend by 30 seconds — so you learn to think clearly under time pressure.
Instant Hire / No-Hire Rating
Right after the interview: an overall verdict, your strengths, exactly what to improve, and resume feedback for your role.
Structured Interview Rounds
Runs through Resume Cross-Qs, Situational, and Behavioral & Fit rounds in one session — the same loop most companies actually use.
Role-Specific Interviewers
Pick from 12+ ready-made profiles — Data Analyst, Software Engineer, HR Executive, and more — or type in any custom role.
Speak, Type, or Code
Switch freely between Audio, Type, and Code mode mid-interview — useful for both non-technical and technical rounds.
Practice As Often As You Need
1 free mock interview on the Free plan, and 5 every month on Pro — enough room to actually get comfortable before the real one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the interview really based on my resume, or generic questions?+
It's based on your resume. You paste your resume text (and optionally a job description), and the AI interviewer asks direct cross-questions about the projects and experience you listed — not a fixed generic FAQ list.
Do I need to speak, or can I type my answers?+
Both work. You can switch anytime between Audio (speak your answer, live voice-to-text), Type (write it), and Code mode (for technical questions) — whichever suits the question.
Which browser should I use for the voice (Audio) mode?+
Google Chrome is the best-tested browser for live voice transcription. Brave, Firefox, and Safari may not support it reliably — Typing mode works fine on every browser regardless.
Do I have to turn my camera on?+
Yes — both camera and mic need to be working before you can join, so the interview practice feels close to a real video call. Your camera feed is shown only to you for presence; nothing is recorded, saved, or uploaded.
Is my video or audio recorded anywhere?+
No. Camera, mic, and speaker checks all run 100% locally in your browser — nothing is captured, stored, or sent anywhere.
How long does one mock interview take?+
Each session runs up to 15 minutes across 11 questions, with a per-question timer (with a one-time +30 second extension if you need it) — enough to cover a full round without dragging on.
How many mock interviews do I get per month?+
1 free AI Mock Interview on the Free plan (one-time), and 5 every month on the Pro plan. Pro attempts reset at the start of the next month.
What do I get after the interview ends?+
An instant report — an overall Hire / No-Hire style rating, your key strengths, specific areas to improve, and feedback on your resume itself for the role you practiced.
Can I practice for a role that isn't in the list?+
Yes — use the "Or enter a custom role" box above the interviewer profiles and type in any job title; the AI will build the interview around that role.
How is this different from the Resume Scanner and Resume Builder?+
The Resume Scanner finds what's missing or weak in your resume against a job description. The Resume Builder fixes those gaps for you. This AI Mock Interview is the last step — it tests how well you can actually talk through that (now-fixed) resume in a live interview.

Before You Begin
Timed Mock Interview
- This is a realistic 15-minute, 11-question mock interview with an AI interviewer, moving through every stage of a real hiring conversation:
- Each question has a 60-second answer timer. If you don't reply in time, your answer auto-submits and the interviewer moves on — just like real interview pressure. Running short on time? Tap +30s More Time to add 30 extra seconds (once per question).
- The interviewer will actively cross-question vague or generic answers, so be specific.
- Type your answers in the chat box, just like a real conversation.
- Your camera will be shown to you only (for practice presence) — nothing is recorded or uploaded.
- Starting this interview uses 1 of your 5 monthly attempts, even if you leave it midway.
- At the end, you'll get a full rating and feedback report.
